Individual, Couples and Family Counseling
Strategies for Success offers a diverse team of certified counselors to support you. When it comes to finding the right fit so you feel completely comfortable with the counseling process, we take the time to understand what you are looking for in a counselor.
After your initial evaluation with the Intake Coordinator, an appropriate therapist will be recommended to work with you based on your preferences and their expertise, knowledge base, and availability of appointments to best accommodate your scheduling needs.
All of our Therapy clinicians have different backgrounds and a wide range of specialized training. From trauma, substance abuse, crisis intervention, adults, children and family issues, Anxiety, Depression, OCD, LGBT concerns and more, our team is here to support you. They also come from diverse backgrounds to allow for comfort of our clients if there is a specialized request. We’re here for you, and if we can’t help, we’ll find someone who can!
Counseling is offered for individuals, couples and families, and each client may experience a combination of these to address different needs and dynamics they face as they go through the counseling process.
MSW, LCSW, Our Founder
Strategies for Success’ founder, Elizabeth Rahamim, LCSW, SAP is a Work-family-life expert in Chandler, Arizona. Originally from Southern California, she had been in private practice there from 2002-2010 as a solo-practitioner. Passionate about this work, she focused on re-establishing Strategies for Success in Arizona following her relocation to the area in 2010. Due to significant lack of Counseling resources available in the South Chandler Area, she determined South Chandler would be an accessible location for Chandler residents, as well as for Queen Creek/San Tan Valley, Casa Grande and Maricopa. in 2012, Strategies for Success opened its doors, and has since expanded to adding multiple counselors with varying specialties, ethnic backgrounds and language offerings. Due to having difficulty coordinating psychiatric care for clients in a timely collaborative manner, the decision was made to expand services to include psychiatry care right here in South Chandler. Currently, Strategies for Success is proud to provide counseling and psychiatry care to over 800 clients per month, coming from all over the Phoenix Valley. Elizabeth is humbled and proud of the reception she has received from her Arizona neighbors.

As a passionate trauma therapist specializing in EMDR, I strive to Inspire Hope, help people find hope and build strength to walk through the challenges of life. By building a safe place and therapeutic connection, my clients can be vulnerable and feel supported. I graduated from Ottawa University, Master of Professional Counseling and specialized in the Treatment of Trauma, Abuse and Deprivation. I chose to specialize in trauma therapy because there are deep wounds we try to ignore and hide from others. These wounds may affect the trajectory of a person's life in countless ways. Trauma is subjective to the person; nobody may tell you what you have survived through isn't traumatic. These events may cause emotional, physical, interpersonal and relational challenges and affect your school, employment and financial freedoms. I am a Licensed Associate Counselor with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health and Certified Family Trauma Professional with the Arizona Trauma Institute.
I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, couples and families, I've also worked with individuals with substance abuse and co-occurring diagnoses. EMDR therapy is my specialty, a method I use to help process trauma and have witnessed incredible transformations. I trained through EMDRIA International Association.
I want to help you through your journey, to come walk with you through the darkness so you can find a reason to smile again.
